Hello guys,
The ones experienced with the GPRS function, I wish you could help me to figure out what I am doing wrong. Some days ago I had a problem registering a terminal in the GPS Tracker software provided by Xexun. I had deleted the terminal and the software did not allow me to register a new one with the same IMEI. But all of a sudden it just let me register again. Anyway I can't get the GPRS function working. The following is the configs that I did.
Received the IMEI
-> imei123456
-> Device responded successfully!
Created the terminal in the GPS Tracker software (this time successfully)
Set the APN
-> APN123456 wap.itelcel.com
-> Device responded successfully!
Set the user and password
-> up123456 iesgprs iesgprs2002
-> Device responded successfully!
Set the IP
-> adminip123456 200.199.198.197 3030
-> Device responded successfully!
The IP was my public IP and the port was a valid unused port in my machine. I had the firewall disable and a rule in my router to allow connections to the 3030 for my private IP (192.168.1.99), the incoming connections is redirected always to the 192.168.1.99.
Set the GPRS mode
-> gprs123456
-> Device responded sucessfully!
Opened the GPS Tracker software, configured the IP and port to 192.168.1.99 and 3030 respectively and started monitoring ("Start Receiving" button). Checked with netstat to make sure port 3030 was opened. And yes, everything ok. Tested the connection to my public IP and port using http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/, results ok, port opened. But when I selected the terminal and it shows me that I am in the middle of ocean near Africa (I guess I am not in the ocean, I see just buildings from my window lol :) ). Actually I am in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Another curious thing is that when I click the "Terminal Control" button and click "Single track" it pops up "Disconnect with terminal,disable send control command."
I tested the GPRS configurations in my cell phone using the Tracker's SIM chip, and it works! The only difference in the configurations is that my Phone service provider ask me for a proxy and a port to allow navigation with the phone's browser.
PS.: In SMS mode it shows me the correct coordinates.
I don't know what else I can do anymore.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
