@Baltika, thank you for URL. I asked for manual, they ask "what vehicle will you be putting it in", so it's an unnecessary procedure. I know they need that info for specific connection scheme but I require the general manual, to understand the workings better.
And since there's no manual on avl1.teltonika.lt/downloads, I thought I'd ask here. @tonnorlando thank you as well.
Hello guys. I just got a teltonika fm1100 and i am struggling to configure it via usb cable.
For the usb config i downloaded some configurator tools from their website but i get this error:
"Configurator version does not correspond to FM firmware version. Software version like X.1.11.Y should be used to configure your device".
Ok so i understand that i need a certain version of the config tool. My device has Code ver: 01.11.07 and i cannot find anywhere this configurator version.
Does anybody else had this problem and has the recommended config tool?

We are still learning and trying since 3 years.
Without asking each time for each vehicle how to connect the correct canbus-wires (comfort can, motor can, dashbord can) you will not enjoy it!

I have a problem with Teltonika FM1100 configurator, it´s telling me that my firmware is not the right version.
But when I try to get the firmware file from Teltonika, they just keep directing me to the sales manager for my region,
which is not really interested in sending me the firmware file.
Does anybody have any idea on how can I upgrade my device firmware or where could I get the file?

Does the gurtam platform support teltonika fm1000 obd2 device?
I can't find it in the avl page. This device also supports commands for reading/clearing fault codes (both sms and gprs). I am also interested if i can add a custom command in the unit properties for this.

Protokol was the same as fm1100, so you can choose fm1100.
the implementation of fm1100 supports also sending of commands, its very good implemented.

Hello guys.
I have a couple of cars with Teltonika FM1100 installed and connected to Gurtam Platform.
The problem is that in the reports, there is a big difference between the reported mileage and the car's dashboard mileage. I know that they will never be the same, but it seems with each day passing the difference grows.
I have setup the following methods for calculating mileage:
For each device i have setup one Relative Odometer Sensor with parameter: param199/const1000
and one mileage sensor with parameter: odometer/const1000.
For each unit i have selected Relative Odometer for the Mileage Counter and inputed the mileage from the car's dashboard and checked the Auto checkbox.
Also i have setup a Mileage Counter Job for these cars that runs every minute with the settings found in the attached image.
Please if you know any other setup so that the data can be more accurate, let me know.

Yes, we've got it. Can you also show us the "attached image" you talked about?
with correct configuration we have less than 0,3% difference between fm1100 with odometer and real vehicle odometer.

Hi,
We often see a difference in mileage in cars who use other type of tyres than advised according the ""book"". Also tyre pressure can make a difference!
For example: one customer had a ""tuned"" VW Golf GTI, with special "'rubber shoes"" and we noticed difference from about 10 > 15 % !!!! .
Easy test: Take a GPS navigator, program a ride of exactly 100KM, drive this and check the difference between Odometer, Wialon, and navigator .
Problem is also that customers see the Odometer as reference, these values are ""true "" in their point of view
