Dashboard - Smart looking Report with graphs

A standard list of key performance indicators (KPI's) for my clients will include the following:

1. Live status of units under monitoring:  could include the following
1.1 A pie chart showing the number of units that are online vrs the number of units offline for less than 1 day vrs the number of units offline more than 1 day.
1.2 A bar chart showing number of units that are engine on and stationary ie idling for 0-5 mins, 6-10 minutes, 11-15 minutes and over 20 minutes

2. Mileage KPIs could include:
2.1 A bar chart showing total number of journey miles travelled by all vehicles for each day in a given calender period (could be last 7 days or last 10 days. Miles on y axis and days on x axis.
2.2 A bar chart showing the total fuel usage for all vehicles over the same range above. Total fuel usaged on y axis and days on x axis.
2.3 In a more advanced graph, you could combine 2.1 and 2.2.

3. Driver behaviour KPIs coiuld include
3.1 Top 10 drivers or vehicles with the worst total idling time in the last 7 days.
3.2 The average and maximum speeds reached by all vehicles each day in the last 7 days
3.3 The list of vehicles violating maximum speed limit in the last 24 hours

More KPIs possible but this is a good place to start.
Please let me know how we can make this happen quickly as we are facing competition from new systems coming to market.

Thank you for the details, we DO can create that kind of an application with some pre-defined number of differently visualised charts of but some more clarifications on the listed KPIs are needed, like what would be Max speed limit from the bullet point 3.3 and whaere should it be set?
And, Baltika,  you are welcome to add new KPIs for sure, we'll start working on that.

We also believe that the dashboards - great idea. But if we are talking about the KPI, can we take part too?

If it will be possible display KPI by group of objects, i would be interested display the following indicators:

1. Duration of offline/online time per unit, in selected period - in bar chart
2. Most frequently visited places on the map, and time spent there by colors for 5+/10+/30+/60+/120+ minutes - doughnut chart on the map

To avoid the appearance of aggression in the topic temporarily stop and wait for feedback..

I support rokojo2's and unitedsecurity's ideas. I think high quality dashboards and charts greatly improve the ease of understanding the information and make the system more user-fiendly.

Here are some ideas on presenting the ideas voiced above as well as some other ones:

Total engine hours; Distance traveled by vehicle; Idling by vehicle; Speedings - all with the ability to set thresholds - exceeding the threshold would change the color coding of the chart:

Trending using charts - change over a particular time period (days, weeks, months) by vehicle / vehicle group / full fleet:
(1) fuel usage
(2) driver behavior scores
(3) speeding violations
(4) excessive idling

Industry benchmarking
Give fleet managers the ability to see how their fleet is performing compared to similar fleets - is their fleet wasting more fuel, Is it driving as safely, etc.:

Here Gurtam can really leverage the vast amount of data it is collecting from all units connected to the WDC and build dynamic aggregated benchmarks to be used by fleet managers. This should probably be an extension package on the price list.

I believe that this is a strong feature that the competition here in the US Fleetmatics has with the Graphics that they display in the dashboard and would be a very strong tool for Wialon to enhance all the information is there

(while it's still not released it will not be visible at apps.wialon.com and to run it you should start any app and than in the address field change appname to dashboard and keep all the rest of url intact )

so change trackplayer to dashboard and voilà!

Given that I started this whole thread it will be helpful if I can also have access to see the dashboard in development. I have tried several times but I guess I do not have enough rights to see this. Can you help??

This topic is intended to capture information regarding the new Dashboard application on its usage and any bugs or chnages that may be needed. The fact that it is available for both the PC and mobile devices makes it a formidable report visualization tool. I hope we see more of the same with other applications.
