I am just reading your texts about "3G" trackers and wondering, if there is already some LTE Trackers.
Here in Germany they stopped enhancing 3G Networks and are just switching all power into LTE800/LTE1800 MHZ Networks.
For example T-Mobile already has round about 80% LTE Coverage and much less 3G Coverage...
Could be the better Future... in my Eyes 3G becomes death in that moment when LTE coverage is better than 3G...

80% for whole Germany, France for example has also between 70 and 80% LTE coverage, Switzerland 100% (ok, that is a small country ;-)

What i have read is that the Network Technology Providers like ZTE, Huawei and even NSN are pushing customers to user their RAN technology... More Bandwith for same costs. So the conclusion was, that a Operator who has not already a well integrated 3G network and/or an operator who is investing into his Network will fokus to the LTE technology as it brings him more Bandwith per Dollar...
Thats what you can see here in "western europe" everywhere. Even in the US they stopped building 3G sites and fokusing totaly at 4G...

As there are only a few 3G Trackers at the market and the decission to invest into new GPS Tracking hardware is a very importand decission, i was just wondering if it maybe would make more sence to invest into 4G HW...
