Well, after talking with the Gurtam Guys at the Cebit yesterday here is something we would need realy as an enhancement for the Wialon Plattform:
A driving logbook.
Here in Germany, Austria and the Swiss (and coming in more and more EU Countrys) there is the need of the above.
If a company owns some cars and this cars CAN be used also for private use, the driver has to pay round about 1,3% of the price of the new car per month as taxes to the taxmen. If he doesnt want to pay that, he has to write a "driving logbook" where he marks, if this was a private trip, or a business trip. If it was a business trip, he also has to write down which customer or potential customer he has visited.
In practice this looks like:
Date, Startadress, Startkm (odometer total value), Stopadress, Stopkm, distance, private/business and remarks.
Basically all this information is there exept the "private / business" flag (can be done by digital input maybe?) and a remarks field.
So what would be perfect for us:
we can generate a kind of report (pre-driving logbook) where customer can click to each "trip" and just have chance to set flag private / business and enter a short text.
than we need a second report where customer just get a printout of this trips together with the private/business information and the remarks.
(for legal reasons it should be noticed somewhere, if later some changes was done in the reports).
Well, anybody else in need of this? Would make Wialon for us more perfect as it is already :-)))
