Wialon Tag and "energy" optimisation?

Topic: Wialon Tag and "energy" optimisation?

Hi Ladies and Guys,

trying to use Wialon Tag for a larger number of Android Smartphones and a bit stucked with the configuration.
I want to send the device every 15 Minutes a location update.
BUT NOT every xx deg, every xx meters, every xx speed blabla.

I want to configure the GPS Tag in a way, that it just wake up every 15 minutes, scans for gps/wlan and send location. Than go to sleep again.

Any chance for this kind of config?

Wialon Tag and "energy" optimisation?

Re: Wialon Tag and "energy" optimisation?

Hi, Wolf.
Yes, it's possible for Android version of GPS Tag.

In the second case (by timeout), the service addresses to GPS receiver and tries to determine the current
position by timeout, for example, once in 20 minutes. The service analyzes up to three messages during
two minutes and generates a message if successful.

Thanks Kopa,

just trying that now but looks great.

I already created a nice working time report (and translated app into german).

So lets see what customer say...
