just wanted to start a collecting threat about LTE Advanced / LTE / 4G GPS Trackers.
When reading local news and technical forums everybody states clear that LTE700/LTE800/LTE1700/LTE1800 is the future for broadband (as it is more frequency-effective, has more bandwith and a lot of additional benefits).
Does anybody knows already a LTE GPS Tracker?

Regarding threats Wolf they will basically be the same as with any GSM threat. Main concern is jamming. Tracker should be able to either reject a Jamming attempt or at least alert some how.

try jamming LTE :-)
as it can use many different bands and bandwith in my eyes you need to jam from 700MHZ to 2600MHZ and there is no payable hardware which can swoop 2GHZ xxx times per second.
Also the codespreading is much more robust.
I was yesterday flying from Switzerland to Germany and thought: lets switch on the phone in the airplane :-) and was very suprised when i received some WhatsApp messages hihi... It could use LTE800 in the plane in round about 5000m high... no way with GSM and 3G...
So what i hear is LTE much more robust protocoll against jamming.
