Is there a way to get Google Maps to come up in the available maps in Wialon?

JohnG, you can use them with you own DNS name. Just contact our Support.

John, you need to register here:
https://developers.google.com/maps/signup?hl=en
and obtain a google maps api key (Key is valid for your domain, for example track.yourdomain.com)
This key you can send to support and than after they have implemented it you just configure in user configuration to enable google maps.
Please have in mind that you "should" pay for google maps, also they charge only after 25.000 views per day...

I am using google map on the reqular web and wialon mobile. Works fine.
yesterday surprise : can't use google maps in m.wialon.com . I get "API use was stoped by google".
The reqular web still works with google maps.
Any one got this problem too ?

As I see you have your own DNS. In these case i advise you to enter mobile Wialon throught your DNS, it will solve your problem.
Use following link
wialon mobile v1 : cell.ananas-global.com
wialon mobile v2 : tablet.ananas-global.com

As I see you have your own DNS. In these case i advise you to enter mobile Wialon throught your DNS, it will solve your problem.

Both were set up from about a year ago.
It was working fine from cell/tablet .
The problem begin about yesterday with the message :

Seems, this trouble is global. On my desktop, after opening m.wialon.com, message appear 'Google не допускает использования API карт для этого приложения.'...using windows google chrome, rostelecom.
Right , this is a global problem made by Google.
I am afried Google will stop the free service also in the regular web service.
In GPS Orange the error that is showing up states that the daily quota has been exceeded. So it looks like Google has reached the target on its aquisition strategy and is now moving to the monetization :-)

Yes, recently i've disabled Google Maps in GPS-Trace.
Please use OSM or Gurtam Maps. The latter are being updated permanently. If you have some special needs in any region please forward your request to support@gurtam.com - our cartographers will have a look at, examine and estimate the possibility to make it better.
I think is is good as we are saying to the people affected to start using Wialon :-). It is OK for a consumer, that is someone with a single vehicle or personal tracker but not for a commercial user.
We suggested that they use OSM or Gurtam as well.
