Intellitrac X1 Plus

Thanks for the URL links. I was able to add one Intellitrac X1 plus unit to the system. It got registered as Intellitrac X8 unit. It reported valid location. How do I execute certain tracking features such pulling current location of the unit, geofencing, report generation etc.

Again, it possible to have the software and the URL platform customized to meet the demands and needs of people in Nigeria. Can you customize the software and the URL interface to look like what is in the attached document. It simple and easy to use. We are looking forward to deploying Wialon in Nigeria as soon as we are able to have it perfected to meet our needs here.

Concerning the customization of the tracking interface to look exactly like the one on the attached screen-shot, who do channel the request to? I need the contact details of the persons to contact.

Again, can ignition on/off feature be achieved on Wialon vehicle tracking solution/interface? The report/messages will look more detailed if the event column is added to show ignition on/off status of vehicles on the tracking grid.

Can we have our local coverage map uploaded into the system? The google street map is not as detailed as our locally produced map. Apart from the level of details, the accurancy of our local coverage map is very high.

So in what map file formats ?

How do I setup Wialon to do the following

1.    Get actual fuel level reading from the vehicle without installing a fuel sensor
2.    Get actual vehicle odometer reading
3.    Get info on actual fuel changes (filling or theft)

I am using an Intellitrac A1 device that has analog inputs to connect with the vehicle odometer and fuel gauge.  The vehicles are pickups and it is  not possible to install a fuel sensor (like Vepamon)

Are the modems offered by GSM telecom service providers good enough to deploy Wialan Pro and Standard for SMS messaging and remote management of tracking units? Typically these modems use USB ports.

Or there is a specific kind/brand of GSM modem you recommend.

Did you get a solution for this. I am also looking for using fuel gauge meter analog output to connect to analog input to the A1 and use it for fuel theft.

Please share if you have found one.

What is a vector map? And how do we get it? I thought with a Google Map we should get addresses (at least street names).

What is the way forward? The material on the link is quite technical. As you well know addresses rather than GPS coordinates are more useful in reports.
