Тема: Grouping on Unit groups

Is there a way in reporting to have the unuits sorted in to their unit groups if we run a report that covers all units?

We are running a report against a master group that is an accessor to all other groups and when we run the report we get the units but we cannot see which group they are a part of.

Hi,

as each unit can be added to more than one group the information in such report would be too redundant.

Hi Duig. We have individual groups created already and the problem is that we have to run 12 reports and then manually consolidate the results. We have a master group that has access to the other groups and what we want to do is to run the report using the master group and have the results split into the each of the other groups.

john runs the right way at the end but there is a way that is a little stupid but it works , units are arranged in reports in an alphanumeric way waht you have to do is allocate to each unit of the group a code, example

A1 .....
A!

and to the next goup

A2
A2

so that way when you generate the report the units will be arrange by there group...stupid but it works

Hi Aressun,

You are right by using the code you can get it to put the units into the grouping. But the customer does not like the solution as they use the number plate as the vehicle identifier. I am working on a naming standard to see if they will accept this.

Yes i know clients are difficult you deliver them a solution but always want more...good luck
