Hi dear Gurtam Users,

we got the request to add a report, which calculates the kilometers driven by a device only if device is in pre-defined geozones :-(
any idea how to realize this with Wialon?

(More technical: the customer has "road cleaning trucks" and want to know, how many kilometers some of the parts of this cleaning mashines was used, but only in some geozones. he want to use this for billing his own customers.

for example: cleaning with water xx km in geozone A, cleaning without water xx km in geozone B and so on.....

May be this way
1. create a geofences for Customer 1,2... and create a sensors (1=water +, 2=water -)
2. create a new report for unit group -> Geofenses (for Customer 1) with water : Available columns -Geofence, Mileage, Driver
                                                                                                 Parameters : Row numbering,Total (the whole mileage),  Detalization
                                                                                                                            - Geofense (created for this Customer)  ,
                                                                                                       - Sensors ->Whith sensor on ->Retrieve on/off intervals
                                                                                                                             -Sensors masks -> sensor water+
3. -> Geofenses (for Customer 1) without water : Available columns -Geofence, Mileage, Driver
                                                                                              Parameters : Row numbering,Total (the whole milesage),  Detalization ,
                                                                                                        Sensors ->Whith sensor on ->Retrieve on/off intervals
                                                                                                                             Sensors masks -> sensor water-

We have got some similar problem in the field of agriculture. We have to monitor the fuel level in each specific geofences. Our goal is to make a riport about the fuel consumption only in geozones.

When you write: "and create a sensors (1=water +, 2=water -)"  , what kind of sensor did you mean?  (what is the sensor type, and the sensor parameter?)

Hi Krisztian,

we solved our Problem very simple:
When generating a report, you can set in the extended setting just some geozones. After that you get mileage reports etc. only for the time the device is in the Geozones.

That works fine on our client.

Regarding Sensor: We use VT310 Device from Meitrack and it has 5 digital Sensors, so we just added in Unit configuration the sensors like "in5=Water", "in4=cleaner"
than you choose in your Report the Names of the sensors, Water, Cleaner and get in your report the KM / Time which both was ON in the Geozones.

i think is much simpler if you use the zone in or out to do all the reports that you mention, just press the circle or not to know fuel consumptions ont he specific zones

Unfortunately this is not working...

Our main problem is that we can't make a report wich contains the geofences and fuel level data at the same time. (or it is not working properly)

At the reports if we add table about Geofences there is no fuel data available (it is pitty because this is the only way where the km counting, AVG speed calculating,  in time spending works well).

If we make a report from trips, engine hours, etc. we can set Geofences as a filter (Geofences/units  in/out/none at each geofence ) than the km, time, speed and other parameters calculating provides fals data/answer because it counts not only with that period when the positions were in the geofences (see attached picture).
