Topic: Trackers with RTK support

My client asked me a diffcult (for me) question: whether I know a tracker which supports RTK?

Of course the question is primarily addressed to Gurtam, but also I would be glad to hear the answers from people who already used such hardware. The topic seems to be very interesting, but also complex and I think some practical experience can be very helpful.

If you meant Real time kinematics (RTK) you could try https://emlid.com/reach/

These are Russian guys and they are doing great work, i myself own 2 Reach RS devices for stake out  operations, but there are some people who did funny things with this device.

But keep in mind that you either need a fixed base station or some subscription service which sends you correction data in RTCM3 format, those services are usually a little bit expnesive. then you can hookup a gsm modem and send data to flespi (https://gurtam.com/en/flespi).


It can be definitly done, but involves some tinkering.

We have made our own base and rover for high-precision GNSS+RTK navigation on the GNSS module Unicore UM980/982, receiving RTK corrections via GSM channel.
The system was created for harvesting and road vehicles in the northern fields when the road is swept. The coordinates of the road edge are uploaded to the Rover. The location detection frequency is 10 Hz, the total accuracy is +-10 cm, the reaction rate to crossing the edge (marking) is 0.2 seconds at speeds in the field of no more than 40 km/h.
