We set in Wialon Beta the update of a unit tooltips settings visualization and universalized the effect of the settings on unit's tooltip, charts, track hittest.

In the next Wialon Stable update will also install an option to select reports and geofences from other resources in notifications/jobs settings.

Dear partners,

I want to inform you that we are planning to disable Beta support in the next two weeks. But we will continue to inform you on the forum, what“s new and in other sources about upcoming releases.

I will share with you the reasons why we are going to do this.

First is the low usage of Beta. At the peak of visits Beta, just 2% of all online users use it. That is also a reason why Beta reviews come extremely rarely. Over the past year, we got 5 requests about Beta suspicioned behavior.

There are some reasons on the technical side. You may have noticed that updates are periodically published with the note “will be installed in Stable”. There are a number of tasks that can not fully work in Beta. For example, if we change a data format. If you set up a new format in Beta, then go to Stable, you will get a conflict.  Tasks related to the execution of notifications we also can set only in Stable, as they should be controlled just in one place by one rule.

Such technical limitations make using Beta incomplete.

For these reasons, we decided to close this functionality. But at the same time, we understand and accept responsibility for updates, we will continue working under making them unnoticed and predictable.  In case of significant changes, we will ask your consultations here on the forum or in private contact.

We have released a new update recently, here are the new functionality:
-“Login as” option rework. Now it is much easier to login as other user and get back to the top user
-A new filtration type in “Custom fields” table
-Cancellation of the compulsory file compression of the reports less than 20 MB

- Configurable time of tags automatic unbinding.

- Heat map layer in reports: parkings, trips, and other events can be identified visually when reports executed
- Map search tool: located directly on the map.
- Chart rendering: it's possible now to show a dashed line when it was connection loss
- Report generation: if you failed to create table or save a report, the system will inform you of the reason in pop-up window.

Today we've released a new Wialon Hosting update with the following features:
-Track player redesign: track player got a new stylish interface, it works faster and displays data more vividly
-The Unit column in reports by driver or driver group: there is possible to add unit column in tables "Eco driving" and "Infringements"
-Redesigned preloader page: new stylish icon is appearing while monitoring site and CMS manager loading
-Interface design selection: users can change interface theme in user settings if they have default "grey" scheme
-New custom sensor values: in reports "Trips", "Engine hours", "Summary", "Digital sensors" it's possible to add columns with values of custom sensors now.
- Description field in the report: it's possible to specify some additional information about the report in the description now and see it in report tooltip.

In the latest update of Wialon Hosting we have added the following features:
- Description for Notification and Jobs: now it's possible to define any text for explanation or any notes which will be displayed in the tooltip on a job or notification hover
- Improved fuel consumption calculation:  there were changed the filtration order and smoothing fuel data to increase the calculation accuracy

Today we've realised the new block for Dashboard - "Mileage"

This block contains a graph with the data on the mileage of units over the past seven days.
Please note now the calculation is working for mileage sensor by GPS only, in future we plan to add other methods for calculation

Today the following features have been realised:
- New custom sensors values in report: in report table (for unit report) such as "Fuel Thefts", "Fuel Fillings", "Geofences"  and "Eco Driving" there is possible to add columns for custom sensors.
- Map autoscaling: when the option 'Unit Tracking' is activated, the map autoscaling when units leave maps, move to map center or approach each other as well
- The 'Infinite map' option removal : now this option is available constantly for all users which allows the circular movement of the map always.

Today we have released the following features:
- The ability to change report filtration: previously it was only possible to apply filtration in strict order. Now user can define custom order to filtration types (via click on additional button at the right in field "Intervals filtration")
- Dashboard: units handling, now by clicking on unit the new small window will be opened to work with unit and get unit-related information
- the new report type "Geofence" : new table will show how many units and which units, in particular, visited  the selected geofence(s) at a given time.

Today we've released the new possibility in functional :
- Custom fields: now it's possible to display custom fields value in report tables (for units, drivers, passenger, users reports) using Calculator function.  The custom field in calculator formula can be specified by full name or by mask.
