I am working on a scenario where I want to restrict certain users from creating the Unit Group. I am not sure about the way to restrict the user from creating it . Can you please provide me the information about how to restrict certain users from creating unit group ?
when creating a user there is a checkbox (can create items)
uncheck it and the user wont be able to crate unit group,user and units
1) You can disable service "Unit group" in account settings. But in this case user won't see the groups at all.
2) Also you can disable option "Can create items" in user properties. But in that case user won't be able to create also units, reports and etc.
3) As an alternative you can set up the limit for number of unit groups in account services. In that case user won't be able to create more unit groups in the account.
Most likely, the 3rd way will suit you more than others.
