Fingerprint driver identifier

The most important parameter  is the quantity of fingerprints in the database. If it is about hundred (or smth. like this) it will not be a problem to find it.

One of our customers is looking for fingerprint reader with database of 50 000 drivers.  It will be very difficult to find such equipment, and also it will be very difficult to upload 50 000 entries in every reader. The cost of such solution will be extremely high, I think.

1000 is rather big quantity. Imagine, in every reader you should enter all 1000 fingerprints.
You will spend a year to do it...
But you can try to ask some well-known manufacturer like https://www.hidglobal.com/products/biometrics/lumidigm 
After receiving the details we'll think together about the possibility of integration into Wialon (or using some trackers for transmitting data).

Interesting question would be also: can it be updated via the air? Otherwise its a lot of fun to deploy 300 fingerprints to 300 vehicles  by sending each driver to each vehicle...

(that was always the KO Kriteria for all solutions i found... no updates over the air...)

We are developing a solution for this that can handle million of drivers and is compatible with any gps with a serial port. we have tested this on queclink gv300w but any gps that allow trasparent data to be send it is ok.
Our solution at the moment is country dependent. Of course Chile it is used as PoC
