Hello Nimbus Development Team,

There is immidiate need to add Google maps layer in  Nimbus , with all similar features , as that of Wialon hosting . Google maps is more popular , user friendly in major parts of the world , besides better updated with addresses in local languages.  Specially if Nimbus and Nimbus API"s are to be used for Public Transport , it becomes more useful and relevant .

Nimbus Locator generation option should also have option to to preselect a map layer of choice.

Would also like to see a trailing tail of the Unit when moving  on the route one stop to the next , so that user can know that past stop/s have been visited.

Hi, Gabbar!

We already support Google Maps:Basic and Google Maps:Satellite, you can find the information about maps here https://docs.wialon.com/en/hosting/nimbus/user/map/map

As for the Locator, for now the default layer is OpenStreetMap and you can't choose/preselect a map layer but we'll consider this option, thank you.

Could you please specify what kind of user are you talking about in the last sentence, dispatcher or passenger?

Thanks for the response . Yes I read the document . It does supports Google map layer options .

It will be great if Google maps layer can be made available in Locator link as well . When I say USER , I mean end user " Passenger "

Hi Victoria,

For Wialon Local users, Gurtam Maps still seems to be required for Nimbus.

Can you advice when Google Maps will be supported, replacing Gurtam Maps which does not have any added value for us as it is not complete in our region.

For the Logistics module to work with Wialon Local, Gurtam Maps is required as well, to build routes. As for Nimbus, Google Maps will make the module more accessible for global parters.

You are right, Gurtam Maps are required for Nimbus. It is a preset layer which is necessary for application's performance. You can easily change the layer and work with Google Maps. Please find the information about maps here https://docs.wialon.com/en/hosting/nimbus/user/map/map
