Hdop filter zero

Topic: Hdop filter zero

Support told me to post this here. The filters use max hdop. It means zero hdop is accepted as accurate. Zero must be filtered out as well. See attached. Thanks

Re: Hdop filter zero

jac, you didn't attach any screenshot, but I found your letter to support team.
Why do you think that messages with HDOP=0 are invalid?
Devices can send 0 if they couldn't calculate this parameter, e.g. while restarting. But this doesn't mean that coordinates and other parameters are invalid. You can see even on your screenshot, that you'll lose a lot of correct messages.
Moderate outliers of coordinates is a common thing for all devices on parking. All data is additionally filtered by "Trip detector" in trips and reports.
