What is the use of below Remote API.

Every item in Wialon can have custom properties.
implock is implementation detail of import process in Hosting. We are using it to prevent simultaneous imports to same item/user/resource and you have no need to use it in any way.

I'm using "Import from WLP" screen to import unit (.wlp file) and choosing import type as "Merge" and import option as "Sensor"(all sensor).
What happens when few sensor name are already exists in the selected destination unit, whether it will delete and create the sensor (or) it will update sensor ?
As per your help text Merge means "Items with the same name will be replaced and the new ones will be added.", here name denotes sub Item name like "sensor, admin Field Name etc" (or) it denotes unit Name?

If mode is Merge, it will be replaced, if Append — ignored.
