White labelled API's

Topic: White labelled API's

More and more of our clients are requesting API access and since we are white labelled reseller, it sort of defeats its purpose when the API access is via Wialon.com.

Is it possible to maybe create a CNAME like, hst-api.lvtrack.com and point it to hst-api.wialon.com to mask the URL for our clients?

What about the folder name wialon as in: https://hst-api.wialon.com/wialon/ajax.html

Can we somehow hide that too? If not, then is it possible to put all your API’s in a folder called API as in hst-api.wialon.com/api/… so that we can possibly use our CNAME with the api folder, like: hst-api.lvmtrack.com/api/… ?

I had sent the above to Gurtam Support and received this reply:
Currently feature of replacing hst request DNS is not available.
Our developers discuss the possibility of implementing such feature.

Evolution of Wialon features and possibilities is one of the key goals which is carried out by our programmers and chief managers. Yet there is a reverse side in adding new features which is functional ornateness. Please create a topic with your suggestions in the dedicated section of our forum so we can value how high the demand is (http://forum.gurtam.com/viewforum.php?id=53). Besides other Wialon users not only will be able to vote for the feature but also post their own thoughts helping us to take into account their opinions. Thus we will be able to understand advantages of this function how it can be utilized and how useful it is for all our partners.

Thank You.

vatche, just proxy requests via your server, that's easy task, nothing special. You may use nginx for this.
