Hello.  Just wanted to raise a concern that several customers of mine have already brought up in terms of convenience of use of the Monitoring tab in Wialon.

For clients with over a hundred vehicles, they find it a bit inconvenient to have to scroll down the list of plate / license numbers on the Unit List. 

These clients have all expressed a desire for a Search box similar to the one in the Units tab where you can enter all or part of the plate number or ID number of the unit and the matching units will appear. 

As you can see from the mobile app, this is already included but would be most useful also in the Monitoring tab on the main Wialon site.

Hope you guys can consider this as a small but urgent feature.

jonasf_ph, try to use the Search Tool instead.

Naturally, such search is logical to see in that place. However, it appears that there are technical limitations for that that stopped us from adding it. Hence, our solution is a search tool as ALEK has already mentioned.
We will count your voice towards the request as it is not the first time we are asked for the feature.

I think it also depends on how the customer works with Wialon. I would recommend that normally you would not have all of the units in the monitoring panel worklist, in fact we advise customers to have it blank. Then we use notifications to create a popup minimap or alert based on a condition they want to monitor. Having even tens of units on the list if they are geographically dispersed doe not give a lot of value as you really cannot see anything.

Hi JohnG. The client operates over 100 trucks and needs to see all units online ang green on the work list
They have personnel operating 24x7 including Security personnel who watch out for emergencies and even hijacking. This means they are quite insistent on having all units appear on the work list.

Hi Pavel the info that Alek gave is useful but not what the customer is looking for. Frankly they question why all other gps providers that have demonstrated to them have this easy to search function available e on their work list.  The search tool Alek mentioned brings the user to the unit on the map, not the work list
