We created a new handy chat for operative communication between a driver and a dispatcher, sharing files, photos and coordinates.

The web-version of the application is intended for dispatchers and works with the mobile application WiaChat for drivers.

This service makes it possible to reduce the cost of communication services and this is a more advantageous solution for calls in roaming, classic SMS-messages and other popular mobile messengers.

Nice app. In the mobile app, should be nice if you had an option to see the last message automatically, instead of showing a "New Message" pop-up and having to press it to show latest message arrived.

taiv, the idea seems good but we have very similar functions in WiaTag, Logistics and using Chtterbox. If you really want to provide an application can profit as you described in weblog i have an idea. Please do them applications like most messenger application we know (i.e Telegram, WhatsApp etc.) to send messages even when user is offline and deliver as he/she got online.

Hi, zayedsaid14
A driver receive a message in the mobile app WiaChat.
If the driver hide the app, it starts working in the background mode. After receiving a new message driver will get push notification.

WiaTag doesn't have possibility to send message. Might you mean GPSTag? In this case you need to have the Wialon object to make conversation.
What will you do if a carrier have 10 vehicles and 20 drivers?
In the ChatterBox you can communicate with objects via GPRS but with drivers SMS only.
Logistics:
Chat functionality looks like WiaChat but in order to make conversation in Logistics you should bind Driver to the Object (only in this case chat you will get messages from drivers). Also in WiaChat we remove excess functional, for example some international carriers no need modules Orders, Planing, Monitor route, so app was developed.

This function is already supported.
when GPRS will be turn again , driver(user) will receive all not delivered messages.

You need to create a driver in the Wialon Hosting

Do you mean voice call via GPRS? Am I right?

I think that with this new app coming in we need to look rationalizing the number of communications apps that are available as it is confusing. Plus look at combining functionality.
