Hi dear Gurtam Team,

i am missing a report, which can be started by a user, that shows him ALL objects he has access to incl. custom fields and "unitgroups".
Or as an alternative in CMS in units an additional field which shows all groups a device belongs to...

Practical problem: Customer with 300 objects is switching units between object groups, renames the objects and want to have at the end of the month together with the invoice a list which "group" has which units inside (to calculate the costs by groups).
Another problem is, that some units are in more than one group, but to find that manualy its realy realy a boaring task...

Any idea?

Did you try the table Unit latest data? It contains the list of all units, that are in a group and some more other info.

About the problem "some units are in more than one group, but to find that manualy its realy realy a boaring task..."
I'd suggest the improvement like on the screenshot: to add a column of Unit groups to the Unit table in CMS.

But it seems that these two problems have a different assignment...

Hi Tatsiana,

the strange thing is, that i do not have column "Unit Groups" in CMS and can also not add it. That would already solve 90% of my problems!
(see screenshot).
Unit latest data does not give unit groups and custom fields.

So how can i get this column Unit groups in CMS/Units?

Tatsiana, what you have in your mind? While a unit can be in more than one group how you want to show it in CMS?

wwbusch aka Buwo , it's not ready, it's just my suggestion what we can do. If it's OK, than we will plan this improvement.

While a unit can be in more than one group how you want to show it in CMS?

I think, that they should be displayed in the same way as the Custom Fields column, so groups will be divided by comma

Good news for you Wolf!
“Units” tab in CMS Manager has been supplemented with “Unit groups” column. The new column contains the groups a unit belongs to.

For convenient work with third-party applications, we also added the option to export “Unit groups” column to .xlsx.
