Hi all,

just out of curiosity, i set "Send Identification string" in the new Ruptela firmwares, this leads to the fact that the device isn't reporting properly to wialon server.
This feature would make it possible to keep an open TCP Connection to the server (No Link timeout), would be useful if you send a lot of commands to the device.


Long story short: Do not enable it (at least now) or your device will not report correctly to Wialon.

Hello!

we have already contacted Gurtam to solve the issue.
Since Identification string functionality is enabled, device will receive only firmware or configuration update commands or identification string acknowledgement.
