Profils and need of useraccess to "custom fields"

Hi dear Gurtam Team,

we found that it is a problem that using "Profiles" in Units needs to have activated write access to "custom fields" for the end-user.

We use "custom fields" to have informations stored for our resellers / white label partners and "admin fields" to use for our local (internal) information storage. If we give access to "custom fields" the end customer can delete / change informations there which is bad.
At the other side they want to use the "Profiles" function.

Any way to put this "access" part into something other than "custom fields"?
