Can anybody recommend good quality DC power supply for using in our technical dept, suitable for testing and configuring tracking hardware.
Let me know the basic required spec. and which is the best online store. Any specific model no?

orosgroup It is better to have laboratory power supply which can regulate current and voltage. For example "Mastech" company makes good power supplies.
But actually you can use whatever power supply which you find. Most of the trackers have wide input voltage range 12-24 volts or even more wide. For example sometimes we use charger for laptop (if we need to test something outside the office).

(we use them for doing some voltage tests until which voltage hardware is working fine)

I use an old computer power supply and it work well for the purpose. If you use a lab based DC power supply you are creating a condition that does nor reflect the actual in vehicle condition. That is you have very clean power and when i test the devices i want to see what happens for power fluctuations
