Hi Guys,

anybody else the problem of custom icons?

In last version of Wialon Hosting there was a change that customer can not upload their icons anymore.
So we tried to use the Wialon Icon App which allows us to upload icons for our "mastersuperduper-partner"-account.
That works fine, but our ENDCUSTOMERS who has their own accounts can NOT upload icons to their own accounts.

So this is a realy bad step backwards regarding the functionality in our eyes.

Support wrote us:

In our eyes the main problem in missing custom icons is, that our customers are often competitors from each other. If for example fedex use their own custom logos for their vehicles and DHL use their own custom logos and GLS and so on they will be not very happy to see the logos of each other in the main system as we need to make them available for everybody.

Anybody else who would like to have custom icons back?

Of-course .... I also just checked and indeed I cant see the upload ""button"" .

I think that the functionality for users to be able to create and upload their ow logo's or icon's should be brought back. Having it managed through a central ICON set that only the top account can control has problems like Wolf has raised.

Hi All,

on the Icon tab you may click the area inside the box that holds icon's image to open File upload dialog window.
In case some non-default icon is already set you should click the button located at top left corner of that box to Reset image at first.

yep, that works.

If there is already a individual symbol, it needs to be deletet, than you can click on the icon and than the upload dialog apears.

Maybe you should include such "hidden features" in the documentation (http://docs.gurtam.com/en/hosting/cms/units/image)
And store it in knowledgebase ;-)

Adding new icons i-Watcher Lock to the default icon's library.

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to add additional icons to the default library in order to use them and show in Wiallon all the needed options for the users of Spetrotec's iWatcher Locks.
