Can somebody using CAN features share screen shots of Sensor properties especially for agriculture, forestry, generators, construction machineries just to understand how sensors are created for CAN DATA received.
I am doing a project on Forklift, dumper trucks and escavators.

You need to:
- ask HW manufactor for the list of param_id´s they send to Wialon (for example param199=can_this, param200=can_that).
- If HW manufactor does not give you this list, ask Gurtam Support.
- after you know, which param_id=which canbus data, you create sensors using this documentation: http://docs.gurtam.com/en/hosting/cms/u … rs/sensors
- mostly you will use fuel level sensor (beware of the different types of fuel level sensors and calculation schemes in Wialon!) and odometer data.
Than you test the data coming out of the system
Than you create reports which shows the data in a way your customer likes to see it.
As you have many different types of vehicles, be aware that some send the correct data, some not and some send correct data but different data than others (so here you need to analyse the data you receive in wialon and than decide how to configure canbus sensors)
conclusion: canbus <> canbus, you need to understand the principles behind that. i would call it the "king-discipline" ;-) we still hate it and still spent a lot of time to understand it again and again and again.
