Can anyone please advise on the best solution to control the grain level in combine harvester grain tank which will enable achievement of monitory from control centers and give level display in cab for machine operator.
Any idea is highly appreciated !
You could look at using an ultrasonic sensor. Depending on the type you are using it may be able to give you the level of the grain or a warning when the grain reaches a certain point. What is the height of the grain tank? Take a look at the link below I found this when I was looking at the grain handling issue a few months ago.

Hello Jhon, Thanks for your kind reply, I will look in to the details of attached resource.
I was thinking to use the same but I was afraid the vibration and dust all over the grain tank, mainly during harvesting process may significantly affect the accuracy. In my observation most tanks have an average of 3m depth.

Have you looked at solutions like Dinamica Generale's Win Scale www.dinamicagenerale.com/win? You will get the data on grain level in the tank both on monitor in the cab and on Wialon when connected to GALILEOSKY via RS232.

I have tried to communicate with both Dinamica Generale and the fmeter as per your recommendation. I found out dinamica generale use load cells rather than level meters, and they told it is difficult to apply their solution on CLAAS DOMINATOR combine harvester models becuase of the grain tank structure. I hope the fmeter solution will work , though I am still waiting for the reply from the company.
