any idea how to create such a report? (sensor-chart via time)

Тема: any idea how to create such a report? (sensor-chart via time)

Hi guys,

i dont know how to create such a chart: the customer want to have all sensors one over the other as little charts...
I tried sensolator app, but that app shows me only the "now" status

On the left is the "digital sensors", (y-achsis) and on x-achis is the timeline...

Heeeelp ;-)

Thanks
Wolf

Hey Wolf

Its not hard to get all needed data from Wialon. How to visualize it - this is a question.

Can you provide some more info about this report:
- how many units/sensors will be in it
- what period of time (week, month ...)
- what it should be (e.g app for watching or just print service)

PS and what that colors means?

Alex,

- one unit - one report.
- 8 sensors per unit
- one week report and one day report
- as i understood its just for printing a report for documentation. if the customer wants to analyse something we created a report where he can see every detail...

i could ask our offshore developer if he can create such a report via a windows software, but i thought before asking him, maybe there is an internal way to use Wialon directly....

The colours is basicaly just "per sensor"

Any ideas?

Wolf.

Unfortunately, I dont see any internal way. Its custom feature for development, interesting and quite simple
I think simplest way - create service on PHP, that will get information from wialon and return ready-to-print report.

But it can be done it thousand different ways, so its for you to decide

Sensolator allows you to select a week as the period but it does not change the actual display from today and current time. This is a bug so the development team should look at it. We also have the same request, senor value over time but need also to be able to set a custom range for the period.

Yeah, i also see a potential enhancement for the sensolatro :-) not only "now"-values but also "historical" values but with the functinality of the sensolator... that would be really cool!

Re: any idea how to create such a report? (sensor-chart via time)

What i do not understand is that you can set the time period for the graph to be a week but it does not change the graph from the current (Now) readings. We thought that when you selected the week it would show the sensor values for the week.....but it does not.

Having it as a "now only" dash board is Ok but a lot of functionality is lost by not being able to show history.

John
To show sensor values for the week we need to get tons of information from server and then render it.
I believe you should wait a little before plot updating.
