Dear all,

Please advise is there interest for such feature in Wialon Loac and Wialon hosting.

According to EU drivers regulations:

Driving hours

The main EU rules on driving hours are that you must not drive more than:
-    9 hours in a day - this can be extended to 10 hours twice a week
-    56 hours in a week
-    90 hours in any 2 consecutive weeks

Breaks and rest

The main points of EU rules on breaks and rest are that you must take:
-    at least 11 hours rest every day - you can reduce this to 9 hours rest 3 times between any 2 weekly rest periods
-    an unbroken rest period of 45 hours every week - you can reduce this to 24 hours every other week
-    a break or breaks totalling at least 45 minutes after no more than 4 hours 30 minutes driving
-    your weekly rest after 6 consecutive 24-hour periods of working, starting from the end of the last weekly rest period taken

It would be nice to have a way to keep track of driver activities and send notification if any rule is
reached or near to be reached.

Actualy, there's a lot of tools in Wialon Hosting concerning driver's activity and above-mentioned regulations.

Dear Alek,

Thank you for yours fast reply.

Actually we did not have those drivers information on our current Wialon Hosting server.
After the upgrade we have a drivers tooltip as you suggested in yours reply.

We would like to have same or similar functionality in Wialon Local and would like to be
able to create notification based on drivers working hours.

P.e. send notification to the dispatcher when the driver nearly reached a maximum by any
parameter (daily, weekly or monthly)
p.e. after 4 hours of uninterrupted driving to send a notification that he have left half hour.
or p.e. a notification that he fulfill weekly driving hours.

Maybe it is already supported but it is not documented.

another possibility may be to use routes. If the driver has to stop after a particular period eg 4 hours for say 30 minutes this could be added as a checkpoint on a route. So if he does not stop or does not stop for the requiered period an alert is sent out. Works for single long trip.
