Тема: How to "count" people on a Bus-Trip

Hi Ladies and Guys,

now little Wolf has also a question:

We need to count "entering" people on a bus-route and "leaving" people on a bus-route (together with location).

This must be not automaticaly, so driver can for example press "button1" x-times if x people was entering the bus and "button2" y times if y people was leaving the bus.

But how to configure Wialon (sensors?) and more importand: how to create an report for this?

Any ideas?

Hi ,

Just a suggestion , you can use two RFID tags , Mark one for Entering and the other one for exit.
Driver scans first RFID (X times) Tag when passengers entering .
Scans the other RFID tag ( y times) when passengers exit , you can create an event on Wilaon based on each tags ID and then build an event report with "count " to find how many times you recived each tags ID ,
I assume that the bus stops are fixed locations , if so you can create geofence for each bus-stop and count the number of times wialon recived each Tag's ID within a Geofence ?

Of course, if the bus carries only fat dressed Dutch men or only naked Asian girls - error of the method is high.
In practice, you can use average passenger weight 80 kilograms (dressed).
