(P.S. if you need roaming functionality, ask him for our firmware which they made for us, or i also can send you. but beware that meitrack told us they will stopp selling them... so maybe time to choose something other (even if we did not decide what we will choose for an alternative)

i have charco already on skype they dont sell VT series anymore but i saw many vt310 on alibaba it seems to be a generique device.

would you buy a mercedes at Alibaba if it looks like a mercedes but is from china?
there are many clones on vt310 on alibaba/aliexpress/dealextreme, but that what we have testet have shitty ( (c) by Jorge Valderas) PCB, chinese STM low cost mcu (not ATMEL), different firmware, not 100% compatible with commands and so on and so on.
We where looking since long time for a lower priced alternative for the vt310 but did not find any (stable) :-(
So we are using finaly different hardware from different manufactors.
What is the main purpose you need the unit for? do you have other sources for buying HW or only alibaba?

I need a cheap stable gps tracker with at least 1 input and 1 output (no need for other features gps for rental cars)
I dont like alibaba, i prefer known manufacturer.

Hi Renato
and dont forget: use IN5 for ignition! not IN1-IN3 as they are negative inputs!
So just connect your ignition (connection 15) to DIN5 at VT310, add new sensor from type "ignition sensor" and use as parameter "in5"
