Topic: Temperature sensors for medicine cold transport chain
Hi Gents,
We are searching an solution to monitor the temperature of goods along the medicine cold transport chain. Does anyone has an experience?

I had a client, which wanted to have a mobile client to monitor the medicine cold transport chain with a Bluetooth 4.0 (low energy) temperature sensors. But they had to build a sensor with Bluetooth 4.0 interface first. And because it takes time and money... they gave up
This can be done with a Dallas 1wire sensor connected to a 1wire port of the tracker if you want to do this near real timeor with a temperature logger using a small logger that it read at the end of the trip. The logger, looks like a fat iButton, costs around US20.
We are doing near real time tracking of temperature with Teltonika units. Single temperature capture on the FM1100 and multi point sensing with the FM4200. We have created sensors in Wialon and set notifications when the temperature has exceeded a particular point for on screen and SMS alerts and we register the event so it can be used in reports.

John
We just have experience with FLS this one sense temp too in the fuel tank, you need first a device that sense ambient temperature and find the way to connect to FM, only need to make the cable connection, we use 4 different kind of sensor and in some cases we built the cable because some companies doesn't sell it.

your device must be portable or a fix device
Actually, we have found some solutions based on like stand alone device and "connected boxes".
good because i saw on The us a product done by fedex that will me assure humidity and temperature altitude plus the gps
What tracker you use ? if you're use teltonika digital sensor on 1 wire is good.
if you use another tracker have only adc input analog sensor is your choice.
you can use LM317 to supply analog sensor. and use only 1 resister to make basic voltage divider circuit. and then connect junction between sensor/resister to adc input.

This chart with my circuit I make it three year ago .
i would say that the best device i have seen for your aplication is this one but it si still not integrated in our platform
hi guys,
we have (thanks to diana) implemented Flextrack lommy 2 Pro... this device can read via active 868MHZ rfid tags also temperature and huminity. You can just put the little wireless sensor into the box and the gps trackes is fixed mounted into the transport vehicle.
Realy nice HW!

In this way main problem: two and more refrigerator trailers ...
How wireless will be possible to know what refrigerator trailer is connected to tractor?
For small riffer LCV is not any problem to put about 3 .. 5 meters of wires.
real temperature graphs (refrigerator truck):

4) in graps also is possible to see refrigerator operation time
