Тема: Visualizing stopped points in a track

I know that we can have different colours for the speed on a track but is it possible to see each of the points where a vehicle had stopped for longer than a predetermined time, say 5 minutes, as a standard part of the track visualization?

Hi John

if you use reports to show a track it shows you the stops as P sign,
Reports also show different colours for different Speed if you enable it in configuration.
(we are always talking about Wialon Hosting)

Hi Wolf,

We have both the hosted and Pro solution and the client that is using Pro wants to see the stop points during monitoring as it may indicate that theft is happening. We are using reports but the client want it to be near real time so we have to show it in monitoring.

Well, in this case you can just configure trip-detection (for example by not moving more than 5 minutes or so) and than in monitoring it shows if device is moving or not (coresponding to your definition what is a stop point).

so it depends of how you use ignition.
but in wialon you not need to use ignition for status of movement.

P.S. i think that (as always) with a bit of configuration and playing you can configure everything as you need it!

I have started looking at what can be done using using notifications and reporting.
