GoGPS, I suppose that at 2nd conference day exact details about "how this feature should be implemented before we will release next Wialon Hosting update" should be discussed with all patricipants from EU.
AFAIK currently your requirements are differ, this blocking from us implementation stage.

Driver Logbook implemented as Wialon App will be available for usage starting from upcoming upgrade.
This Wialon App implemented as opensource (using sourceforge) so everybody may use and enhance it with own interface/feature. We will place its source codes to public place in next few weeks.

how should we understand that? There will be a "Wialon app" for smartphones? The App will be Open Source and can be modified by us. The app will use API/SDK of Wialon Hosting and transmit some "Status" to the Plattform? Than the Plattform can be used to generate reports like a driving logbook?

Друзья! Прочитал в инструкции к driving logbook следующее: "Дополнительно в свойствах объекта можно задать стоимость одного километра и одного литра топлива. Если поездка личная, это позволяет вывести в отчете ее стоимость". Простите, но не вижу в свойствах объектах стоимости километра. Подскажите, пожалуйста, где смотреть?

i very much like the Driving-Logbook, but i (our customers) can not use it because there is no KM value in the reports.
For Legal usage we need to write in our "drivinglogbook" the start-km of of the Odometer and the stop-km of the odometer and the distance...
Any chance to get this fields added?

Strange, as if you're unable to use it in the way it is now - who can than. As it's the EU legislation , non member states (as far as i know).

Driving logbook needs the following informations:
Unit-Name, Date when report was generated
than:
Date/time of start of trip, start adress, date/time of end of trip, end adress, start-km, end-km, driven km, flag private/business, comments(free text)
purpose for this information is, that government (taxmen) can check how many km you drive private and how many km you drive for business. than they calculate some kind of quote and the driver has to pay for the private usage for each km some money.
I think as this data is already available, it should be just some simple code changes or?

Hi guys (and ladies),
when using the driving loggbook i found one bad point:
kilometers are calculated without .xx, so 2.4km plus 2.4km are shown as "2km" and "2km" but gives a total of 5km. So there is an internal rounding but this is not shown.
So customer asks "if i am driving 2km and 2km and result is 5km, how should i explain it to the taxmen?
Maybe you can show in the driving loogbook 1 digit after the "."?

Hi Guys,
when discussing with existing customers and potential customers about driving logbook they show us always the leading competitor plattforms here in germany (namely tomtom) and they have a "button" which they can connect to the gps tracker which has two functions: "Private" and "Businesstrip".
So they just click on the button to enable private trip and do not need to add this information manualy at the "driving logbook" software.
Any chance to get such a function implemented?
For exampe: If digital input x (should be configurable in the driving logbook, for example in1 or in2 or in3 etc) is 1 the trip is a business trip.
than in the driving logbook app the "dropdown" list should be by default a "businesstrip" (but user should be able to switch it to private trip).
If the input was 0 during the trip, it should be a private trip.
Any ideas from other partners?

Hello Wolf,
we are also solving similar problem. Customer has mounted switch (IN2) in his vehicle that divide what kind of drive is he on (business/personal).
I solved this problem by setup of sensors and by function "Register Events".
Maybe it will help you also. Then let me know.

always cool to see how to solve such problems just by configuration (3 times threw the nose and back to the ears and so on ;-)
But we have also the problem: in private mode no gps data is allowed to collect, so this we could not solve... (without firmware changes)
Any idea?

If I understand it right, you need to setup the system that data recorded during the personal drives would not be in the report (for example)?
Do you want to have only business drives in the report?

personal data security law says: private mode = no gps data saved anywhere.
so not only reports but there must be no data in Wialon if user set private mode...
(impossible in my eyes to set this in Wialon)
