Fuel sensor installation in the existing hole of vehicle sensor

Although it is safe, sometimes customers refuse to drill a fuel tank for fuel level sensor installation.  In this case we can use existing hole for vehicle fuel sensor. BUT - fuel gauge on the dashboard miss float sensor signal and stops operation.  It is not good.

For such type of installation Mechatronics can offer Eurosens Dash device. It is emulator of vehicle float sensor signal based on installed high-accuracy RS485 fuel level sensor.

So, installation of capacitive fuel level sensor without tank drilling is possible when:

1. Vehicle level sensor does not united  with fuel sender and its tubes , because we cannot remove fuel sender tubes.
2. Vehicle level sensor is resistive type
3. Use fuel level sensor with RS485 LLS interface and Eurosens Dash
