I am a buyer from Pakistan. I just bought LiGO SP analog 700mm 1-5V from SOJI Electronics in Vietnam. Normally, our old installation doesn't require calibration table but they said we have to do it to make sure high accuracy ( create the linear chart ). Is that true? it is the international mutual standard right? I enclosed images of their software for you guys see it

Muhammad Analog fuel level sensor in Wialon can work with any tracker with analog input.
Calibration of sensor -- it's your own decision. If you want precision values and your fuel tank has non-simple shape -- calibration is highly recommended.
If you don't need precision result and the tank of vehicle has te simple form -- you can just create the table basing on linear dependencies full/empty.

The SOJI Fuel Level Sensor has option for auto-calibration but we recommend you to calibrate by yourself to make sure highest accuracy. It is especially right in case you cut the probe.

I think many unexperienced fuel level sensors users make an error mixing two different processes - calibration of sensor and calibration of tank. And answer from manufacturer in fact not correct.
Calibration of sensor - it is an easy procedure to improve sensor range a bit after cutting. It can be automatic or not. Anyway, it takes about 5 minutes.
And calibration of tank is needed to recalculate level data to volume data. Basically during this process sensor (or wialon) is teached by tank shape. You can never find a sensor with such "autocalibration". if tank shape is strictly rectangular you can skip it but in most cases you have to make this procedure.
