MTTR, MTBF and MTTF indicators and some improvements

Dear Fernando Brochetto,

thanks a lot for sharing the information on the metrics like MTTR, MTBF and MTTF, I need to research more on them, whether they are actually used in fleet maintenance or they are to be more addressed in manufacturing and parts/inventory management.

Putting aside these metrics, let's turn to other requests:

1) Why would it be necessary for a client to have an ability to enter particular hours of service? Do they really enter them in Wialon? How do they operate with these data further on?

2) There is no way to change the distance for the hours, but we will add cost per 1 engine hour on the dashboard of the whole fleet and particular units in the next week update and it will become possible to view the value both per 1 engine hour and 1 unit of mileage.

3) In Fleetrun we do not speak such terms as 'preventive' or "corrective" maintenance. However, we distinguish between the services that are performed per some interval (which is preventive in your case) and unplanned (which is corrective in your case). Thus, in case in reports system displays the name of the interval this is preventive maintenance. In case there is no name of a service displayed this is corrective maintenance.

I have located your idea regarding MTTR, MTBF and MTTF metrics in our backlog of ideas for further developments. To tell the truth this is quite a specific requirement that we have received for the first time, so we need more time to process and analyze it and see whether it can be applicable for other partners and needs as well.

In the regards to the second point we have delivered an update last week where it has become possible to get an idea of the cost per 1 engine hour.

About the indicators, they're a great tool to monitor the progress of fleet maintenance, hope you can find a way to implement them soon.
Do you know if it is possible to change at least the format of calculating the services duration?
Our client is requesting to be able to select the minutes of which the vehicles had been in maintenance.

Just to understand the duration in minutes. The particular hours the client would be able to see by opening the services.

We are planning to add the ability to specify the particular hours or period in hours that a vehicle spent in service. This will happen approximately at the beginning of the next year.

As soon as we add this functionality you will be able to export report and calculate MTTR and MTBF values in the corresponding file.
