How can we disable (remove) the map from the application or at least make it optional in a way that enables us to remove it from the access rights of a certain
user since this application will be handled by maintenance technicians that are not supposed to check the current locations of the vehicles.

Thanks for describing your request and the use case of it.
I should admit that this is the first request of such a kind, previously we did not get any feedback on map located in the unit page.
I am going to put down this request in the list of all requests that we gather from partners and further on select features for development from it. Let's wait for other partners to vote for such an enhancement.
