I would like to get more information about ATrack tracker.

Are you satisfied from this tracker and working it with Gurtam platform?
It has interesting function like: GPS GSM jamming detection. Is it possible to turn on cars alarm if the tracker detected jamming? How this function works? Have you experience with a jamming devces and this tracker?

Hello did you manage to post the device to the server , just asked for a couple of Test devices from Atrack , will be testing the AT5(i) and the AT3 with all the functionality
now it would be good to know who from us (user/dealers ) did the first integration to obtain some information .
i know sometimes it us much to ask because it is a lot of work but maybe somebody can send me the script you have for integration it will save me a lot of work 
Wanted to know if any of you guys have tested the a fuel sensor with this devices AT5 , because it seems the fuel parameter is a event generated information, who has dealt with this problem and how

I cannot locate the text field with the fuel level data from dut -e rs 232 digital fuel sensor FULS:F=2771 t=28 N=0528
when i show parameter as raw data rtc_tm=1355918460, snd_tm=1355918460, report_id=2, odometer=3419.6, hdop=0.9, adc1=0, temp1=2000, temp2=2000, I/O=0/0
The text field should contain text_msg FULS:F=2770 t=28 N=0528

seems to be not implemented, but if you have any documentation or (more better) some sample raw data (from paket sniffer or so), you can write to support@gurtam.com (or here) and the Scriptguys(ladies:-) will look how they can implement it.
Problem with Serial Data is always, that on a RS232 line you can transfer so many things which always need to be implemented.
So just write Gurtam with all your informations you have.

Are you sure that the data is actually being captured by the AT5? How does the RS232 port get configured for the device? I would use Wolf's suggestion and capture the data stream comming from the device using something like Free Serial Port Terminal the url is http://www.joku.lt/projects/fspt. Some of the devices that I have seen use a Virtual Serial port and this is not a true RS232 port.
Does the AT5 have a dedicated RS232 port?

yes it is integrated, but the data comes in txt....we have a fw that show the data on the message
The data that you are getting from the sensor, is it comming in as a single text string? If it is I think you will need to have a change made on the device firmware or develope your own data paser. If you are parsing then you can use Wialon IPS to put the data into Wialon but you will need to use the retransalator to create a device that can be used to agregate the two data sets. Alternative is use the voltage based sensors and use a standard analogue port. Gurtam may do it as Wolf said but as he also said you can send a lot of different data through the port so configuring the parsing in the application may not be an easy task.
We are working on the Parsing method so that we have full controll over how we treat the incoming messages.
We are working on this now as we are using GPS devices to capture a lot of data over the RS232 port as well as using it for satellite data transfer when the GSM signal is lost.

You may want to look at a Rasberry Pie or an Arduino as the parsing device. So Sensor input goes to the parser and it reformats into something the tracking application can work with and pushes it to the RS232 port for sending.

Just so you know we do a lot of installation work in UK for tracking companies. There is quite a high failure rate with a track units, I dont like them. Batteries over heat and become swelled. Units lock up. Not so good!
actually we have a different experience, swelling of batteries is commond after a year, try installing a diode between + and Gnd that would help alot in battery life but also try to configure the sleep mode correctly.
i will say its a very good device ...but that is our experience on the tropics working the devices at ambient temperatures of 40 celcius during summer.

does anyone knows how to reset the command password for an Atrack AT1 device to be able to change settings?
We forgot the password, and for any SMS command we send, we get ERROR=104 reply by SMS : Invalid command password. Also device does not connect to serial port without the command password.
Any help would be appreciated.
