Hello friends,
I would like to ask you for advice. One our customer wants to measure flow rate of diesel on the device shown in attachment. It is 1000 litre tank with pump and pistol. Flow rate of this pump is approximately 40l / minute.
Do you know any manufacturer that have flowmeters for such flow rate and possibility to connect it to GPS unit?

me also interested in budget-friendly solution for flows over 1000-2000 l/h.

the tank is stationary? maybe a level sensor will fit?

In this case we can not use fuel level sensors. Our customer has a lot of building machines and trucks that have to be filled directly on the place where they are working. For this fuelling he use vans with 1000l tanks and fill the machines on different construction sites or in the woods by building the roads. Problem is that by this kind of fuelling are the vehicles very often tilted and differences by fuelling would be very big and inaccurate. Therefore the most suitable solution is to install the mentioned flow meter.

40l/min means 2400l/h flowrate

This is already a mechanical flowmeter of size 25 mm, which usually has a flowrate of 75 l/h min (about 1.25l/min)
and max. flowrate of 3000 l/h (50l/min). This 25 mm e.g. from Company Aquametro Switzerland comes either with a Standard pulse output (1 l/per pulse) called VZO 25, or as a type VZF 25, with analogue 4...20mA and a standard pulse output. Both types can be easily connected to a digital input of any Display or GPS device.

Prices are quite reasonable and accuracy is high at +/-1% of flowrate.
