Тема: Configuring wialon local

Hi!

I’ve just finished installing the Wialon Local distribution package of debian and installed gnome to work with a GUI.

I already configured the wialon server to run on 127.0.0.1. But now I want to run wialon web but I’m lost. How can I configure it to run in like “127.0.0.1/web”?

Have you configured the services in the administration side ?

What do you mean by "configured"? What I'm trying to do is to run Web and CMS on localhost.

Re: Configuring wialon local

hi, rgamez

Local is equipped with nginx - all interfaces are fed there. when you configure them in admin panel you simply create a new conf file and restart nginx in the background. That takes us to the poing - if you wish to have something that is not supposed to be standard (like web and cms interfaces on localhost) try to add custom config files to nginx.

It is not very clear though - why do you need it? BTW - the reason for installation of GUI to a server, that is supposed to run without it also is not very clear.
