I have proposition for this tool, to have possibility to detect position from manually typed data.
For example I have problem:
- no GPRS connection with device,
- device do not have GPS signal
- I got data from device received by sms: OP: 23205 Signal: 3 New SMS: 0 Roaming: 1 SMSFull: 0 LAC: 3120 Cell ID: 10317 (Teltonika FM1100)

Probably it worth using 3rd party free tools for now, or just integrate them as links/iframes in an app
The above have free online cell geolocation based on MVV, MNC, LAC and CellID
http://opencellid.org/ - used also by Gurtam in the LBS tool
http://cellidfinder.com/ - using google and yahoo databases, so far is even better then opencellid
Regarding this you can request location from the FM11xx using sms
i must say that the LBS system in Wialon works stable and is sometimes very helpful!

I would append that now we not only using external database, but creating and actualizing own database, based on points that devices send to us. And constructed coverage even much better then any free database available at the moment.
red points: opencellid, yellow points: accumulated data from devices (and its quality is much better cause of real GPS points binded to road network)
